Who We Are
Weingut Harteneck is a Demeter-certified biodynamic winery in Baden, Germany, founded by Thomas Harteneck and shaped by more than 30 years of biodynamic viticulture.
From the very beginning, the focus has been on working in harmony with nature and producing wines that clearly express their origin.
Today, Weingut Harteneck is run by Thomas Harteneck, winemaker and founder, together with a small, young, and dedicated team that combines experience, curiosity, and a modern outlook.
Our Approach
Our work is guided by biodynamic principles, respect for nature, and a clear focus on origin.
In the vineyard and cellar, we combine craftsmanship with minimal intervention to create wines that are precise, vibrant, and expressive.
We produce terroir-driven classic wines as well as natural wines, working with minimal intervention in both vineyard and cellar.
Location & Region
Our winery is located in the Markgräflerland, in the far southwest of Germany, close to France and Switzerland.
The region’s climate, soils, and landscape play a central role in shaping the character of our wines.
